Convergence
CPD-98-2144-A conversion system

Welcome to Convergence!

Convergence is an automated robot conversion platform from Nanite Systems.

To use Convergence, you need:

- an RLVa-compatible viewer
- an RLV relay (see the box in the store if you need one)
- a Bakes-On-Mesh body
- a Bakes-On-Mesh head

The body should be:

- able to use normal skins (no Kemono)
- any gender
- V-Tech supported

The head should be:

- able to use normal skins or EvoX skins
- any gender

Completing the conversion process takes 7-8 minutes, including RP and initial software configuration.

This version of Convergence is the 99-9001-A package. It gives you:

- ARES, the most powerful and flexible robot OS on Second Life today
- NS-144 Traveler main controller
- NS Metalloplastic Theory Primer skin + materials textures
- Assent Robot Cortex
- Pathfinder Horns handles
- Assurance Status Light
- Clarity chromatic communicator (Akashic) icon
- 4-hour NS Lithium-Ion Polymer Battery (13-0536-E/SFU/CM)

Aside from ARES and the battery, these components are all unique to Convergence.

The Assent Cortex provides new functionality called laws. See the owner's manual for more info.

COST: Conversion costs L$2400, which is the same cost as building a DAX/2m avatar with equivalent accessories and a no-copy (transfer) version of the battery.

TIP: Anyone can pay the Convergence machine! It will automatically set the payer as the new owner.

INFO: If you already have a robot system, take it off first! Convergence is best experienced naked. ;)

Frequently-Asked Questions

Can I get a Convergence machine on my own land?

Yes! Check the main store. The field deployment version of Convergence (object name ending in 144-P) has slightly different behavior from the NS store version since it needs to get the outfit components from the NS product servers, but otherwise the experience is fully functional.

Are there other Convergence packages?

We are working on these next! The Traveler pack was designed to maximize compatibility with as many avatars and roles as possible. Other ideas include a dedicated sexbot conversion and a dedicated combat unit conversion.

What about custom conversion experiences for large organizations?

We'll work on a programmable version of Convergence once the above is done!
