The Telos portal system is simple, easy to set up, and slightly prettier than competing systems.
Instructions:
1. Enable the experience "Nanite Systems" on your current parcel. This can be done from the World -> Land -> Experiences window.
2. Rez Telos pads at your desired transit destinations. The descriptions of each available destination portal will be displayed on the menu. You may want to rotate the pads so you don't arrive with an awkward camera angle.
3. Stand on a Telos pad. No sitting required: the only click is to select the destination!
4. You can now create multiple, independent Telos networks in one sim by renaming the pads. Pads that have the same name see only each other. For example, a pad named "Private" can only list destinations also named "Private." (But note that anyone can name their Telos pads "Private" too.)
A word of caution: While this version of the pad is only 4 LI, the Telos menu is 17 LI. Make sure you have a bit of space in your prim budget or you'll be a very sad avatar.

The HyperTelos portal system is simple, easy to set up, and much prettier than competing systems.
Basic Instructions:
1. Enable the experience "Nanite Systems" on your current parcel. This can be done from the World -> Land -> Experiences window.
2. Rez HyperTelos portals or Telos pads at your desired transit destinations. The descriptions of each available destination portal will be displayed on the menu. You may want to rotate the portals so you don't arrive with an awkward camera angle.
3. Stand on a Telos pad, or click on the base of a HyperTelos portal. The menu will appear floating next to your avatar, in-world. With Telos, you will instantly TP to the destination. With HyperTelos, you must click the orb to go there. Anyone can follow you by also clicking the orb!
4. You can now create multiple, independent Telos networks in one sim by renaming the pads. Pads that have the same name see only each other. For example, a pad or portal named "Private" can only list destinations also named "Private." (But note that anyone can name their Telos gear "Private" too.)
A word of caution: While the portal is only 4 LI, the Telos menu is 17 LI. Make sure you have a bit of space in your prim budget or you'll be a very sad avatar.
