2 months ago: The XSU is now converted to ARES. This involved a surprising amount of bug-chasing inside the ctrl script that will make adapting controllers with screens much easier in the future. Physically, the XSU also now has the riser linked to it, saving customers the inconvenience of juggling an unnecessary extra attachment. Also starting with the XSU, the ctrl script now has four-channel color support, using % to indicate color B, & to indicate color C, and @ to indicate color D. (# is color A and $ is low-brightness color A, for use in gauge backgrounds.)
