ARES able to operate without a battery

report	If the ARES HUD is detached while still in an "on" state, and later reattached with no battery attached, the system will happily continue to operate as normal with no battery installed in the system. This seems to cause no negative repercussions and should like check for the presence of a battery on attach and shut down if not present.

Should be solved now; system forces a kernel reset after owner change.

This is still ongoing, the HUD is able to be removed while in a powered-on state and if reattached with no battery will continue to operate normally.
