DAX/2 menu times out and becomes unusable

report	The DAX/2, which was recently updated to ARES, has a physical touchscreen menu. However, when not used for a period, the session for the menu times out, with no way to begin a new menu session, making the physical menu useless until the unit relogs.

Strangely, this issue also seems to be affecting the SXDjr and the Aide's touchscreen menus too. When the expiry hits, the next click on the menu will send them to a branded splash screen, but the menu never recovers and starts a new session.

Issue can be temporarily resolved by either removing and readding the controller device or doing a =ddt reset to restart the whole kernel. More testing is being undertaken to see what else may work around it.

Restarting the controller device through the device's menu also seems to reset the screen menu and allow interaction until the next timeout occurs.
