Under construction! This tutorial refers to items that are not yet available or still require updating to work with ARES. Please excuse the mess!

ARES is an excellent platform for a sex robot thanks to its robust data storage and security models. However, it does not come with a complete complement of sex robot software out-of-the-box. Here are some steps you can take to improve your experience.

Depending on your main controller model, some of these steps may have already been done for you by the bundled Differentiation script. See ARES Controller Info for more information.
  1. Get the Sexuality add-on. This allows the unit to experience arousal, orgasm, and manage cryolubricant levels, as well as interact with others in the same manner.

Sexuality is provided as part of the paid TESI Complete package, available from the Nanite Systems main store in Eisa.

  2. If you are interested in meeting new people for casual hook-ups, consider installing the hookup application. This is intended to be Tinder for sex robots, and can help match units and users through similar preferences.

    hookup is not yet available.

  3. If you are interested in roleplaying as a robot prostitute, you will most likely want the rent application. This integrates with an NS Rental Kiosk (also known as the "Urban Booth") or an NS Collectors' Display Case (also known as "Rental Display Case" or simply "Display Case") and allows users to pay the booth to release you from the booth for a limited period of time, during which they will be added as a user to your system. At the end of the session they are removed automatically and the unit is teleported home to the booth.

    rent is not yet available.

  4. Make sure your owner has an ARemote. This is a remote control device that allows easy menu access and command input from anywhere in the same region.

This can be purchased as part of the NS Remote Console package from our main store in Eisa.

  5. Review your security rules. Some units enjoy the riskiness of open-access menus and commands that ignore their own consent preferences.
  6. Invest in a set of handles or horns. These make it possible for a user to pick you up, change your clothing, or force you to adopt a specific pose.

Not all handle features are ARES compatible yet—keep an eye on the device compatibility page.
