reportCreated a custom personality file including some additional command lines (Set a color scheme, say a line, etc). These additional lines do not appear to be getting parsed/run.

Couldn't replicate; probably you put "@" at the start of commands, which makes them labels for jumps. "@" isn't used before commands except when the unit is issuing them directly in local chat. To make the unit speak, put "input say <message>"
